Shri Babasaheb Shankar Koot is an innovative farmer of
Shri Siddhagiri Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kaneri, Kolhapur, Maharashtra practicing
Multi-cropping which is purely organic. He
is preparing and using jeevamrut,
Dashparni Ark, Gir-Gokrupa Amrutam for crops. He is rearing desi cow like Gir and Khillar etc. along with desi poultry
breeds. He has grown various crops as depicted in table 1. He is one of the exemplary farmers for
doubling the farmers’ income by 2022 as vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister,
Shri Narendra Modi. In totality
he is getting a income of Rs. 17,34,400.
